YUBC System A.D. Peering Policy (YUBC.Net)

  • YUBC.Net is willing to peer publicly with networks that are connected to one or more exchange points we have in common. If you require a more formal agreement, contact us and we will make arrangements.
  • YUBC.Net will accept contracts that specify global or regional routes.
    • Global peers will receive advertisements for all YUBC.Net networks and customers.
    • Regional peers will receive advertisements for the applicable subset of YUBC.Net backbone and customer routes, as specified by AS-MACRO in the RADB, RIPE, or APNIC registry.
    • Routes received at any exchange can be specified as global or regional either by contract or informal agreement.
    • All regional agreements are considered two-way, and YUBC.Net will accept only valid advertisements specified in an AS-MACRO.
  • YUBC.Net summarizes blocks to minimize the number of announcements and flaps.
  • YUBC.Net uses both direct sessions and the Route Servers.
